Food Poisoning:

• Food poisoning is caused due to consuming contaminated
food or water

Symptoms to look for:

• Diarrhea
• Blood or mucus in stool
• Vomiting
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Cramps
• Fever
• Headache

Causes:

• Cooking in unhygienic conditions
• Using unclean vessels
• Cooking with dirty hands
• Undercooked food
• Consuming unpasteurized milk or cheese

Natural home remedy using rock salt and lemon juice:

1. Take a glass of warm water
2. Add ½ tsp of rock salt
3. Add 2 tsp lemon juice
4. Let the child drink this water 3 times a day

Natural home remedy using peppermint leaves:

1. Take 6-8 peppermint leaves
2. Crush them to make a paste
3. Press the paste on a sieve
4. Extract the juice
5. Take 1 cup warm water
6. Add the juice to this water
7. Mix well
8. Give this to the child 2 times a day

Tips:

• Let the child stay empty stomach for 4-5 hr
• Ensure that your child drinks only filtered water
• Maintain proper hygiene while cooking at home
